NEW MUSIC: The Underachievers - Cobra Clutch

The Underachievers drop a gem of an ode to pro wrestling in their newest single, "Cobra Clutch." The Underachievers are a rap duo featuring Issa Gold and AK, both fresh out of Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. They first splashed onto the underground rap scene in 2013 with their hit debut mixtape, Indigoism, which was lined with spitfire rapping and lines that made sure you kept your third-eye open. Since, they've dropped two albums, two mixtapes and a slew of solo projects from each member.

The track does not stray from the group's signature formula of rapidly delivering lines back-and-forth between the two rappers over some dark, eerie Todd Boyd production. It starts out with a sound bite of 80s pro wrestler SGT. Slaughter demonstrating his signature move before getting into the gritty production.

The Underachievers are working on their upcoming project Renaissance.
